Well, to finish off the May Moments offers, here's the last one...

You will receive a DVD music slideshow (not a CD with printable images) of images from your family session with your session fee of $150 and a $250 minimum purchase.

I'll start posting images soon on the blog of the progress of our new studio and some recent weddings and sessions! So check back!

Also, I'm still looking for senior models. I'll give them my medium package at no cost. But in return, they need to promote Capture This Moment Photography to their friends. I'm looking for 10 models and 4 spots have already been filled. You don't need to be the most beautiful person to qualify. I'm just looking for real high school seniors. (This offer is good until school lets out...June 11th!)

May Moments - May 27-31

I've gotten behind on the May Moments because I've been busy with sessions these offers have generated!

Some quick news....our new studio is being renovated and will now open August 1 in Toano, about 15 minutes from Colonial Williamsburg. Stay tuned for our grand opening plans! August 1 marks our 2nd anniversary of us arriving in Williamsburg (from San Diego) so it will be an extra special day for us. We'll be updating the website with new images from recent sessions.

And for the last May Moments offer...we are looking for 10 high school juniors to be models for us and to promote us to their friends. We'll give you our medium package at no cost to you! We have 3 signed up and are looking for 7 more. Call or e-mail for more details!

May Moments - May 17

Yeah, I missed a few days. It's just been a long week, but it's the weekend and the sky is blue! "Tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes" as Anne of Green Gables always says...

So...since I missed 3 days, today's "moment" offer will be valid for 3 days (until May 20). As I huddled under the awning in France on Mother's Day at Busch Gardens, I kept seeing a ton of places that would be great spots to photograph. Sooooo...let me know if you see this in time. We'll coordinate our schedules and go play!! For now until May 20, I won't charge a session fee and I'll give you 1/2 hour of my time. Sessions must be booked within this window and take place before June 30.

May Moments - May 14

It's the busy wedding season time... If you're a bride, and you see this today, let me know and I'll give you 3 5x7 enlargements from your wedding images. It's perfect for a storyboard!

May Moment - May 13

I don't know about you, but it's already been a long week for me and it just got started! So I need to be cheered up! Everyone who sends me their funniest photo ever will receive $50 "Capture Cash" to use on any future session with me. So go for it!

May Moments - May 12

I decided to give myself a Mother's Day weekend and not work on the computer.... So, I'll give you a break as well. For today's "Moment", choose any May Moment (including the senior deal!) and I'll honor it! Since we have small kids, I don't know too many people in the teenage range. So the ipod is still up for grabs!

May Moments - May 8 - Senior Moments

Well...this weekend will be busy and exciting for us. After a family session and exhibiting at the Family Festival at the WISC (Williamsburg Indoor Sports Complex) this Saturday, Mike will be photographing the Warhill High School After Prom event all night long. The kids will receive a complimentary DVD of the edited images from the night. Starting Saturday, we'll be launching a campaign for high school senior sessions. One package will include an ipod with their images loaded onto it. How cool is that?

So for today's special moment......

If you know a student who will be a high school senior during the '08-'09 school year, tell them to book a session! We'll do a complimentary session for the first soon-to-be senior to book a session and we'll give them an ipod with their images. Really. No strings attached. But they have to contact us on May 8! Anytime after 12:01AM will work. No exceptions!! For those who aren't the first or who read this after May 8, we're looking for 10 senior models. We'll give you our medium package (ask us for our senior catalogue!) at no cost to you. But there are strings attached...you have to promote us to your friends and in the process, you'll earn a chance to earn "Capture Cash" and an ipod with your images. The promotional materials will have some of your images on them. This is not a beauty contest, and we're looking for seniors who are "real" and like to have fun. We'll go out on location where ever you would like to go. A parent or guardian must be present for these sessions. These seniors must live in the Williamsburg community as this is marketing with our sweat equity.

May Moments - May 7

We're exhibiting at the Williamsburg WISC Family Festival this Saturday, May 10 from 9AM - 1:00PM. The festival is free so come on by and pick up your balloon (what child can resist that?) and 5x5 print. And if you really dare to cause some stares, have your prince or princess dress up in whatever costume they want and I'll photograph them on the spot in their treasured gear. I'll give you a 5x7 print as a Mother's Day gift. Images won't be released until our studio opens in June so for all of you who can't stand suspense, I'm testing your patience!

And were you looking for a special of the day? Okay...for those of you who know someone who is expecting in June, pass this on! The first newborn bebe to be photographed in my new studio will receive lots of freebies. Birth announcements, portrait session, bebe folio..... Maybe I can even persuade some local businesses to throw some freebies in as well. Keep checking for an exact date...

Be on the lookout for an invitation to our studio grand opening! We're hoping to have it ready by June 1st. Be the first person to book a family portrait session for $150 in our new studio and we'll give you a 20 inch print for your bravery! We'll do some portraits inside the new studio. Session must occur in June.

Book your spring session for $150 today, May 5, and receive 3 5x7s (perfect for a series) at no cost to you. (A $60 value.)

We'll be exhibiting at the Family Expo at WISC this coming Saturday, May 10. Stop by our booth and receive a 5x7 landscape image at no cost to you. (Hint...I woke up early during the January snowfall and walked around Colonial Williamsburg with a stroller carting around my gear. Considering that I didn't have any children with me, I received quite a few strange looks. But hey! I was 7 months pregnant and I waited 5 years for this shot and my bag was a little heavy. The image I got made the trip worthwhile. Hopefully it gives you warm fuzzies, too!)

We'll be photographing the After Prom at Warhill High School this coming Saturday night. Check back next weekend for a sweet senior portrait special!

The May Moments Sale - Day 2 - May 4

Buy One Session and Get One Session Free! An outdoor, on location session is $150.00. You can either split the session fee with a friend or use one session in the spring and one session in the fall just in time for the Christmas season. Sessions must be booked on May 4, but there isn't a session expiration date.

The May Moments Sale - Day 1 - May 3

These days, we're sort of in a celebrating mood. We're celebrating the birth of our son, Michael (who is almost 6 weeks!), and the grand opening of our studio (details to be released soon!). Bubbles are flowing (see our new logo on our website!) and if you're diligent in checking this blog every day for the rest of the month, you'll be in a celebrating mood, too, with what you can get....

Here's how it will work...

Every day around midnight, the blog will be updated with that day's special. The special is only good for that day...no exceptions! The specials might involve some gift certificates for Capture This Moment products or you might find yourself on a scavenger hunt. We'll try to keep you on your toes!!

Day 1: After 7 years of pure pink (remember...we have 3 princesses that arrived before our prince!), we're going to kick off this May Moments Sale by celebrating the color blue. The first 5 people to send us 4 images with 3 pink items and 1 blue item will receive a $50 gift card for and from Capture This Moment Photography. Gift cards may be used for sessions that occur during the month of May. (For those sessions already photographed since March 25, 2008, you can use the gift card towards print orders.)
